Por desgracia muchos discípulos convencionales de Ramalinga solo conciben que se le represente con el cuerpo enteramente cubierto por una vestidura blanca, y con las manos cerradas. Pero es nuestra opinión que, tal como al querer fotografiarle solo se obtuvieron imágenes de su vestidura blanca, ahora que no está en cuerpo físico justamente es esa vestidura lo que no necesita aparecer en las imágenes actuales de Ramalinga. Su cuerpo cubierto por una vestidura blanca y sus manos cerradas son signos que aluden a su previa existencia física, a la necesidad de ocultar su Divina condición y de reservar la más elevada Enseñanza para aquellos que pudieran comprenderla. Todo ello pertenece al pasado.
Unfortunately many conventional disciples of Ramalinga only conceive that He may be represented with white clothes covering his entire body, and with closed hands. But it is our opinion that, like only images of his white clothes were obtained when his disciples took photographs of him, not being now in physical body those clothes are just what do not need to appear in actual Ramalinga’s images. His body covered with white clothes and his closed hands are signs referring to his previous physical existence, as well as to the need of hiding his Divine condition and reserving the highest Knowledge for those who should be able to understand it. That is matter of a past time.
Esta imagen no está hecha de forma caprichosa sino que ha sido dibujada por la propia Sobhaná, en base a sus frecuentes visiones de Ramalinga. Estas son las palabras de ella explicando la naturaleza de dichas visiones:
“Es muy difícil explicarlo, porque no se trata de visiones donde el que ve es un mero espectador. Ramalinga es tan luminoso que normalmente percibo su Presencia como un haz de Luz blanca-dorada de intensísimo resplandor. Dependiendo de su propia Voluntad, mi amado Padre Ramalinga a veces amortigua el esplendor de la Luz y permite que su Forma sea visible para mí, si bien únicamente puede percibirse por la visión espiritual porque el ojo humano está diseñado para captar solo una mínima parte del espectro lumínico.
He representado dicha Forma poniendo a su piel un color claro, pero en verdad está tan llena de Luz que podría decirse que su piel es absolutamente traslúcida. Todo El desprende destellos que penetran mi ser, lo cual represento mediante el aura de Luz que rodea su Divino Cuerpo. Así me hace plenamente partícipe de su Presencia, la cual percibo con igual fuerza en todo mi cuerpo y también en mi mente. No solo le ‘veo’, sino que también le ‘oigo’, le ‘huelo’, le ‘toco’ y le ‘siento’, todo ello por su Gracia.
El siempre se presenta ante mí con el torso y brazos descubiertos, pues hoy no oculta su verdadera Naturaleza sino que desea mostrarla abiertamente a sus discípulos, para que estos sean partícipes de ella, cada uno en la medida de su espiritual entrega. La diadema que está en su cabeza está hecha de Semillas de Vida Divina, pequeñas bolitas de dorado Amrita. El destello que ilumina su frente es la representación del Divino Conocimiento que con su Presencia transmite, el cual no es entendido mediante la mente, ni percibido a través del entrecejo, sino que se trata de una comprensión que se establece en todo el cuerpo, en la medida en que el mismo esté purificado.
Sus brazos abiertos y en señal de Bendición, muestran que su Enseñanza es para todo aquel que esté sinceramente dispuesto a recibirla. Por último, las padukas de oro son signo de su real y verdadera Presencia entre nosotros, de forma perdurable.
Pero no hemos de olvidar que, más allá de toda forma, Ramalinga es Pura Luz y en la Luz de Gracia será donde tengan lugar su Manifestación y el encuentro de cada discípulo con El. Por tanto esta imagen (como otras que existen de El) no debe ser utilizada como objeto de culto sino solo como divina inspiración que guíe la sadhana en el sentido correcto”.
This image is not made capriciously, but it has been drawn by Sobhana herself, based on her frequent visions of Ramalinga. These are her own words explaining the nature of those visions:
“It is very difficult to explain, because it is not a question of those visions where the one who sees is merely a viewer. Ramalinga is so luminous that habitually I perceive his Presence as a beam of white-golden Light with intense bright resplendence. Depending on his own Will, my dear Father Ramalinga sometimes makes milder the splendour of the Light and permits that his Form may be visible for me, although only It may be perceived by spiritual vision because the human eyes are designed to notice a minimum of the light spectrum.
I have represented his Form giving to his skin a light color, but really it is so filled with Light that it might be said that his skin is absolutely translucent. His entire body emits sparkles that penetrate my being, which is represented by luminous aura surrounding his Divine Body. In this way He makes me to enjoy fully his Presence, which I perceive with same intensity in my entire body and also in my mind. Not only I 'see' him, but also I 'hear' him, 'smell' him, 'touch' him and 'feel' him, every by his Grace.
He always appears before me with uncovered torso and arms, since at present time He does not hid his true Nature but wants to manifest It openly to his disciples, so that they receive a share of It, to the extent of one's own spiritual surrender. The diadem in his head is made with Seeds of Divine Life, small balls of golden Amrita. The sparkle that lightens his front is representation of the Divine Knowledge transmitted by his Presence, which is not understood by mind, not perceived through Ajna, but it is a comprehension that settles in the entire body, to the measure of bodily transmutation.
His open arms, in gesture of Blessing, show that his Teachings are for every one who is sincerely disposed to receive them. Finally, the golden padukas are sign of his real and true Presence among us, which is eternal.
But we must not forget that, over all the forms, Ramalinga is the Pure Light and it is within the Grace Light where his Manifestation should happen as well as the meeting of every disciple with him. Therefore this image (as other ones representing him) must not be used as object of worship but only as divine inspiration to direct the own sadhana in the right way”.
